Hello! My name is SUNNY! 4 1/2 YEARS OLD I am an adorable 4 1/2-year-old male Newfoundland. I am neutered. Please don't look only at my beautiful eyes and my young age. It is absolutely essential that I live with nice, playful, well-balanced companions, whether dogs or cats in the household (older animals should be avoided given my exuberance). After 2 months spent with L'Education Canine in a pack setting, so that I could regain confidence and landmarks, I am now ready to find a family again. Indeed, after a sad and scandalous encounter with a so-called trainer (working with an electric collar), I was lost and rebellious in my head. My family no longer knew what to do (other than being told the answer was euthanasia!!!), so WAMAKA took over my care. I was guided with respect, and today everything is better in my teenage head! But be warned! Not everything is won yet! I have boundless energy (I'm something of a "hyperactive" dog), and I can be rather "boisterous"! I know how to use my tremendous strength when I want something or want to go somewhere. Respectfully, you will need to know how not to give in when what I want isn't possible. I love water and I am extremely playful! The ideal family for SUNNY: one that is TOTALLY available and very present (with at least one person at home at all times), who will engage me in ACTIVITIES, because I am not a placid old couch potato! A family also familiar with the breed, or at least with large dogs, who will listen to the association's advice so that we can move forward with respect. Adoption into a house, ideally in the countryside, since SUNNY currently lives in the open countryside and enjoys great freedom with long walks and access to swimming. Please note: all of these criteria are essential so that SUNNY can continue his progress, the goal being to avoid a relapse into his frustrations and a return of the behavior. Bonjour ! Je m’appelle SUNNY ! 4 ANS 1/2 Je suis un adorable mâle Terre-neuve de 4 ANS 1/2. Je suis castré. Merci de ne pas voir uniquement mes beaux yeux et mon jeune âge. Impérativement présence de copains ou copines sympas, joueurs et équilibrés au sein du foyer (on évitera les séniors face à ma fougue). Après 2 mois passés chez L’Education canine en tribu, pour que je retrouve confiance et repères, je suis aujourd’hui prêt à retrouver une famille. En effet, après une triste et scandaleuse rencontre avec un pseudo éducateur (travail au collier électrique), j’étais perdu et révolté dans ma tête. Ma famille ne sachant plus comment faire (à part avoir reçu comme réponse l’euthanasie !!!), c’est WAMAKA qui a pris le relais de ma prise en charge. J’ai été guidé dans le respect et aujourd’hui tout va mieux dans ma tête d’ado ! Mais attention ! Tout n’est pas gagné ! J’ai une énergie débordante (je suis une sorte d' »hyperactif »), assez « bourrin » ! Je sais jouer de ma force phénoménale lorsque je veux quelque chose ou aller quelque part. Dans le respect, il faudra donc savoir ne pas céder lorsque ce que je veux n’est pas possible. J’adore l’eau et je suis extrêmement joueur ! L’idéal pour SUNNY : une famille TOTALEMENT disponible et très présente (présence d’au moins une personne en permanence), qui me fera faire des ACTIVITES car je ne suis pas un gros pépère tranquille ! Une famille également connaisseuse de la race ou au moins grands chiens, qui saura écouter les conseils de l’association poour avancer dans le respect. Adoption en maison, idéalement cadre campagne car SUNNY vit actuellement en pleine campagne et jouit d’une grande liberté avec grandes balades et accès à la baignade. Attention : tous ces critères sont essentiels pour que SUNNY poursuive sa progression, le but n’étant pas qu’il retombe dans ses frustrations et fasse un come-back du comportement.
