Unsere Tierschützerin Evi hat sie dort entdeckt und dafür gesorgt, dass sie diesen Ort verlassen konnte. Was Olivia erlebt hat, bevor sie im städtischen Shelter gelandet ist, wissen wir leider nicht. Umso schöner ist es zu sehen, mit welcher Freundlichkeit diese kleine Hündin den Menschen heute begegnet. Nun soll das städtische Tierheim nicht einfach nur gegen den nächsten Zwinger eingetauscht werden: Olivia braucht eine echte Perspektive und Menschen, bei denen sie endlich ankommen darf. Charakter & Persönlichkeit Olivia wird uns von Evi als eine unglaublich liebe, freundliche und unkomplizierte Hündin beschrieben. Sie ist eine von diesen kleinen Seelen, bei denen man sich unweigerlich fragt, warum bisher niemand gesehen hat, was für ein Schatz da eigentlich vor einem steht. Menschen gegenüber zeigt Olivia sich ausgesprochen freundlich und zugänglich. Trotz ihrer bisherigen Lebensumstände hat sie sich ihre offene und liebenswerte Art bewahrt und macht im täglichen Umgang einen angenehmen und unkomplizierten Eindruck. Dabei wirkt Olivia keineswegs wie eine Hündin, die ständig im Mittelpunkt stehen muss. Sie freut sich über Ansprache und Zuwendung und scheint vor allem eines zu wollen: dazugehören und endlich ein ganz normales Hundeleben führen dürfen. Mit ihren gerade einmal etwa 37 cm Schulterhöhe ist Olivia eine eher kleine Hündin, doch ihr Herz und ihre Persönlichkeit ist umso größer. Wunschzuhause Für Olivia suchen wir Menschen, die dieser kleinen Hündin zeigen möchten, dass ein Hundeleben aus sehr viel mehr bestehen kann als aus einem städtischen Shelter und einem provisorischen Schlafplatz. Sie soll ein Zuhause bekommen, in dem sie Sicherheit und Verlässlichkeit erfährt, liebevolle Zuwendung bekommt und Schritt für Schritt all das kennenlernen darf, was für viele andere Hunde längst selbstverständlich ist: ein eigenes Körbchen, schöne Spaziergänge, gemeinsame Unternehmungen, Ruhe und vor allem Menschen, zu denen sie wirklich gehört. Auch wenn Olivia sich derzeit ausgesprochen freundlich und unkompliziert zeigt, wird der Wechsel von ihrem bisherigen Leben in einen deutschen Familienalltag natürlich eine große Veränderung sein. Ihre zukünftigen Menschen sollten ihr deshalb die nötige Zeit zum Ankommen geben und sie ruhig und liebevoll durch alles Neue begleiten.
