Surprise og Korra

Mixed Breed · Female · Adult · 6 years

"Hi! We are Korra and Surprise. We are two friends who have become very close. We were rescued together, both pregnant, and we had babies at the same time. We have had a long journey together and want to continue our journey together. 💕 We have come so far during our time in foster care! We are social and like to be involved in what's happening. We help to make the bed, watch TV with the foster mother and of course go into the bathroom. We are now very ready to find our permanent home! But first, a little more about us: I, Surprise, am black and white, and I got my name because I always look a bit surprised 😮😂 I have shiny fur, and I'm sooo curious. They say I'm around 4... years old. I don't really believe that. I'm at least one and a half years old in my head, super playful and giggly. If I could speak human language, I would shout: "I found me, I found me!" I think everything is exciting. Especially things that make noise and shine. So I often steal screws from the foster mom, and then I let them fall down the stairs, or off the table. Or.. I actually steal anything that shines🤭 The one next to me is my friend Korra. The foster mom says that we complement each other very well. My friend is a bit more motherly, "the intelligent one," and I drag her along for fun! "No, no, Surprise, I can introduce myself." So I am Korra, with double R, and I enjoy life. I do exactly what I want, when I want, but people are fun! Now I have been studying them for a while, and I must say I'm fascinated and I think it's very exciting to be involved in what they do. And I have learned the word "kos," "shall we have some fun?" 🤭 I laugh, but then I understood what it was, and it's so good to get some koooos! Surprise thinks fun is good too, but she thinks the world is a bit more amusing, so she has to understand how good it is. A little patience and work, and we will both be winners! If you think I am a slacker (slapcat), then you have to think again! Playing is very fun, and playing with Surprise is so amusing. Mouse, fishing rod, hunting are favorites. The foster mom calls me devoted and stylish. She would have seen me when I swing myself on the climbing frame at night.. 😂"

«Hei!

About Surprise og Korra

What life with Surprise og Korra looks like

Surprise og Korra is a adult mixed breed cat waiting at Hjerte for Hjemløse Katter in Trollåsen.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇳🇴Adopting from Norway

Norwegian rescues require thorough background checks. Animals leave with a Nordic pet passport and full vetting. Norway is outside the EU so import rules differ slightly — TRACES applies.

Frequently asked

Adopting Surprise og Korra, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Surprise og Korra?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Hjerte for Hjemløse Katter handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Surprise og Korra on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Surprise og Korra if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Hjerte for Hjemløse Katter will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Surprise og Korra already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Surprise og Korra isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Hjerte for Hjemløse Katter early rather than rehoming privately; they know Surprise og Korra and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (NB). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
