Adoption Requirements | Adoption Process | Request to Adopt This Animal Now! Adoption Requirements | Adoption Process | Request to Adopt This Dog Now! Anyone who looks at Suse is guaranteed to immediately fall in love with her. This little lady dog brings a brilliant mix of traits. Her gaze lies somewhere between deeply relaxed, slightly bored, and utterly fearless—perhaps due to the white stripe on her head, which makes her look almost like a tiny, cool mohawk. Suse is one of the pups from mom dog Adele. Her story began in a dangerous place: her mom gave birth to her and her siblings right by the side of the road. The little family was constantly at risk of being hit by cars—until, fortunately, they were rescued just in time. Today, Suse is about 2 months old, stands roughly 29 cm tall, and is ready to start her own chapter in life. As for the breeds that make up Suse’s heritage, it’s quite a colorful surprise, since her mom’s origins are unknown—but visually, herding-dog genes can’t be ruled out. When fully grown, she’ll likely reach a lovely, medium size. So far, her compatibility with cats hasn’t been tested. Suse has a tail that’s probably naturally shortened. Due to local entry regulations, she unfortunately cannot be rehomed to Switzerland. As a typical puppy, Suse has never experienced life inside a home. Household noises, house training, leash manners, and the basics of dog etiquette are all completely new to her. That’s why we’re looking for understanding people who can show this little charmer the big wide world—with patience, love, and humor. Suse is a young dog who needs clear, loving guidance. Eventually, the cute puppy phase will give way to puberty, when boundaries will be tested. However, with positive reinforcement training and attendance at dog school, Suse will become a fantastic, loyal companion for life. Would you like to join Suse on her journey and give her the happy life she so richly deserves? Then please get in touch with us. Suse travels chipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated, accompanied by her EU pet passport. The

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen!

About Suse

What life with Suse looks like

Suse is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Suse, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Suse?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Suse on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Suse if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Suse already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Suse isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Suse and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
