Meet our graceful lady, Suzie! This sweet, gentle ex-racer has been an absolute delight since day one, greeting new people nicely, leaning in for a gentle fuss and snoozing away on her bed whenever she gets the chance. She’s relaxed during handling, settles well on her own in kennels, and has taken everything in her stride, although busy crowds can feel a bit overwhelming for her. Due to being an ex-racer, Suzie will need to be kept on lead and muzzled when in public spaces. Home life will all be brand new to Suzie, so she’s looking for patient owners who are happy to teach her everything from scratch, from house training to daily routines. First-time owners are welcome, as long as they’ve done their research on the breed and are ready to help her settle in. Suzie has enjoyed the company of other dogs and could live with a calm canine pal. She would suit a home with school-aged children, and will need to be walked muzzled and on lead. Suzie will need an enclosed garden where she can potter around off lead and burn off a bit of energy, plus quieter walking routes to begin with.
