He gets along well with his fellow dogs, loves to play, run, and expend energy, like any good podenco. But he also appreciates quiet moments, caresses, and the reassuring presence of his humans. He will be a faithful companion, close to his masters, always seeking their gaze and affection. Mais derrière ce merveilleux caractère se cache une réalité bien plus triste… Voici son histoire : En Espagne, les podencos sont souvent utilisés pour la chasse. Ce sont des chiens courageux, rapides et endurants. Malheureusement, lorsqu’ils ne répondent plus aux attentes, qu’ils ne chassent “pas assez bien” ou qu’ils deviennent simplement encombrants, beaucoup sont abandonnés 💔 Certains sont laissés livrés à eux-mêmes, d’autres déposés en refuge, et d’autres encore connaissent un sort bien plus cruel… Sven a été abandonné au refuge de la FBM en octobre 2025 par un galguero.
