Świtezianka

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 9 months

I am looking for my home. I am just under 9 months old and weigh just over 5 kg. I am a beautiful, smart, and lively puppy. From the day I was born, I couldn't hear, but I don't know that I am "different." Every day, I start with the same enthusiasm as other puppies. I love inviting dogs to play, discovering the world, and learning new things. I have already mastered basic commands shown through gestures and do very well in everyday life. Sometimes, a sudden movement startles me. After all, I can't hear footsteps or a voice warning me that someone is approaching. However, it takes only a moment for me to regain my courage and start exploring the world again. I don't understand why people choose other dogs. Every day, I patiently wait for my person. Someone who won't be scared off by the word "deaf." Someone who will see not a disability, but a little sun with a big heart in me. I don't need pity. I need a home. Maybe it's with you that I will find my place?

PL·Show original

Szukam swojego domu. Mam niespełna 9 miesięcy i ważę niewiele ponad 5 kg. Jestem piękną, mądrą i pełną życia sunią.

About Świtezianka

What life with Świtezianka looks like

Świtezianka is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at GRUPA RATUJ Wrocław in Poland.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Świtezianka, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Świtezianka?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. GRUPA RATUJ Wrocław handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Świtezianka on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Świtezianka if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — GRUPA RATUJ Wrocław will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Świtezianka already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Świtezianka isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with GRUPA RATUJ Wrocław early rather than rehoming privately; they know Świtezianka and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
