Adopt Syrop

Mixed Breed · Male · Senior · 10 years

Syrop - a syrup of love and joy. A little dog with a huge heart and even greater love for humans. Approximately 10 years old, weighing 10 kg and 35 cm, a small sweet creature. His tiny body and short legs are pure sweetness. He had a home, a bed, good care, and someone who loved him. Well... now his home has become an animal shelter. Despite his age, he still has plenty of energy and joy - a smile never leaves his face. During walks, he jumps around with excitement and childlike wonder, chasing every new scent. He goes bravely and courageously, you can't tell by looking at him how old he is. Syrop likes the company of humans and actively seeks it. He likes to cuddle, give kisses, and be petted. Dog and cat friendly. We believe that someone will notice our senior, someone whose heart will beat stronger at the sight of him, and someone will want to change his life without looking at the pedigree. We wholeheartedly recommend Syrop for adoption!

Syrop- okaz miłości i radości. Piesek o ogromnych sercu i jeszcze większej miłości do człowieka. W wieku około 10 lat, wagowo 10 kg i 35 cm, mała kochana istotka. Jego drobne ciałko i krótkie łapki to sama słodycz. Miał dom, miał posłanie, miał dobrą opiekę, miał kogoś kto go kochał. Pso i kotolubny. Wierzymy, ze Ktoś dostrzeże naszego seniorka, Komuś zabije mocniej serduszko na jego widok i Ktoś będzie chciał odmienić jego życie nie zaglądając w metryczkę. Polecamy z całego serca Syropka do adopcji!

About Syrop

What life with Syrop looks like

Syrop is a small senior mixed breed dog waiting at Wesoly Kundelek in Poland.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Syrop, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Syrop?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Wesoly Kundelek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Syrop on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Syrop if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Wesoly Kundelek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Syrop already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Syrop isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Wesoly Kundelek early rather than rehoming privately; they know Syrop and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
