Whenever someone approached, however, he would run away and wouldn't let himself be touched. It took several days for the animal shelter to catch him. We suspect that he was abandoned at this location and is now waiting for his owner to return. At the shelter, Tache is slowly recovering from all the horrors he must have experienced. He just wants to be loved. His large body houses a fragile soul. Perhaps he was beaten. Sudden movements and loud noises scare him; then he hides in the back corner of his kennel. But when he gathers the courage to face a person, he is loving, cuddly, and seeks company. With other dogs, he gets along wonderfully. Tache needs a lot of exercise, preferably with some variety on his walks. Maybe he would even enjoy Mantrailing. Sobald sich jemand näherte, lief er jedoch weg und ließ sich nicht anfassen. So dauerte es mehrere Tage, bis die Animaleas ihn sichern konnten. Wir vermuten, dass er an diesem Ort ausgesetzt wurde und nun dort auf seinen Besitzer wartete. Im Refugio erholt Tache sich nun langsam von all den Schrecken, die er schon erlebt haben muss. Er möchte eigentlich nur lieb gehabt werden. In seinem großen Körper steckt eine zerbrechliche Seele. Wahrscheinlich ist er geschlagen worden. Abrupte Gesten und laute Stimmen machen ihm Angst; dann verkriecht er sich in die hinterste Ecke seines Körbchens. Wenn er einem Menschen gegenüber aber Mut gefasst hat, ist er lieb, verschmust und sucht die Gesellschaft. Mit anderen Hunden kommt er wunderbar zurecht. Tache braucht viel Bewegung, gerne mit Abwechslung auf den Spaziergängen. Vielleicht ließe er sich sogar für Mantrailing begeistern.
