adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Talia has found her people! Her story: Onesti, Romania. Little, active kitten seeks her Forever Home. Talia was found as a small kitten with her three siblings on the street. Now, at around 9 months old, she is ready to move into her Forever Home. She is kitten-like, playful, curious, and active. Therefore, Talia will not be rehomed in individual housing. Either your new companion is already in a new home or she brings someone from Romania. Talia will be rehomed in an apartment-friendly environment, but she can also be released into the outdoors after an adjustment period in a quiet or rural setting. She also gets along well with dogs. Talia travels, like all our cats, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport. She is also dewormed, treated for fleas, and tested negative for FelV and FiV. After a positive our area, do you have a cozy dog bed for Talia? We look forward to your contact. Many thanks, Daniela K., for enabling Talia to start a new life. This cat needs outdoor access. This cat is to be kept indoors only.

About Talia

What life with Talia looks like

Talia is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Talia, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Talia?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Talia on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Talia if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Talia already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Talia isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Talia and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
