Tamara 27.03.2016 RUN FREE …… protect now the Rainbow Meadows, R.I.P. R.I.P. dear Tamara and thank you for 3 wonderful years with you here as a permanent care dog at our Lucky Dog Hostel. Yesterday we had to let our beloved Tamara (14) cross the Rainbow Bridge. She had an acute laryngeal paralysis and could barely breathe. Unfortunately, the medications did not work for Tamara, and the X-ray showed an enlarged heart and an attacked lung. After consulting with the animal welfare association Tierhilfe Fuerteventura e.V. and the veterinarians at the Tierklinik, we decided that Tamara should not suffer anymore and let her go. We are infinitely sad, and she leaves a big void in our hearts and at the Lucky Dog Hostel. Tamara gave us so much in the 3 years, she was a clown, often brought us laughter, and sometimes to "desperation". She was a proud, character-strong dog and mastered dog language perfectly. Despite her advanced age, she never gave in. On the contrary, she was a true fighter. It hurts so much… we miss you so much Tamara, you will always be in our hearts. Maybe Tamara was not exactly beautiful or ideal from the appearance for many people… but that is very relative, and we can only say, for us, Tamara was the best and most beautiful dog in the world. Many thanks to Tierhilfe Fuerteventura e.V. for rescuing this old wonderful dog in 2012 from the euthanasia station because you believe that old dogs also deserve a chance at a better life. Tamara 27.03.2016 RUN FREE …… beschütze jetzt die Regenbogenwiesen, R.I.P. R.I.P. liebe Tamara und Danke, für 3 wundervolle Jahre mit dir hier als Dauerpflegehund bei uns im Lucky Dog Hostel. Gestern mußten wir unsere geliebte Tamara (14) über die Regenbogenbrücke gehen lassen Sie hatte eine akute Kehlkopflähmung und konnte kaum atmen. Leider haben die Medikamente bei Tamara nicht angeschlagen und das Röntgenbild zeigte außerdem ein vergrößertes Herz und eine angegriffene Lunge. Nach Rücksprache mit dem Tierschutzverein Tierhilfe Fuerteventura e.V. und den Ärzten in der Tierklinik, haben wir uns entschieden, das sich Tamara nicht weiter quälen soll und haben sie gehen lassen. Wir sind unendlich traurig und sie hinterläßt eine große Lücke in unserem Herzen und im Lucky Dog Hostel. Tamara hat uns in den 3 Jahren soviel gegeben, sie war ein Clown, hat uns oft zum lachen gebracht und manchmal auch zur „Verzweiflung „. Sie war ein stolzer, charakterstarker Hund und beherrschte die Hundesprache perfekt. Trotz des hohen Alters, hat sie sich nie unter kriegen lassen im Gegenteil, sie war eine echte Kämpfernatur. Es tut so weh….. wir vermissen dich so sehr Tamara, du wirst immer in unseren Herzen sein. Vielleicht war Tamara vom Erscheinungsbild für viele Menschen nicht gerade schön oder ideal…..das wiederum ist aber sehr relativ und wir können nur sagen, für uns war Tamara der beste und schönste Hund der Welt. Vielen Dank an die Tierhilfe Fuerteventura e.V., das ihr diesen alten wunderbaren Hund 2012 aus der Tötungsstation geholt habt, weil ihr der Meinung seid, das auch alte Hunde eine Chance auf ein besseres Leben verdient haben.
