adoption requirements adoption process Ask for this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Ask for this dog now! On a farm in the middle of the Romanian countryside, a person with mental health issues had collected several dogs and then unfortunately passed away. Left behind were six adult dogs and a mother dog with her five puppies – on their own. We took in the mommy, as she was the most needy with her puppies (but of course, the other dogs that remained there will also continue to be supported). This mommy is Lovis – a beautiful, approximately 45 cm tall female dog with a slender build. And one of her daughters is Tasha. Tasha is about 2-3 months old and is expected to grow to medium size. Her standout feature is her two-toned nose, which makes her something quite special. She is also particularly outgoing in terms of her character. Tasha belongs to the open-minded puppies that approach people without much hesitation. She seeks closeness, is present, and acts as though she isn't afraid to conquer the world for herself. But she is still at the very beginning. A home of her own, daily routines, trust – all of this is new to her. It must also not be forgotten that she will go through puberty in due time. During this phase of hormonal changes, behavioral quirks like rebelliousness or forgetfulness can occur, making it very important to give Tasha firm rules and structure while being understanding of occasional missteps. Puberty is an important milestone in a dog's life. After the end of this phase, the champagne corks can pop – then this open female dog will likely become a lively companion by her person's side. Tasha brings plenty of charm and openness with her. Starting in June, Tasha can pack her kennel – along with her EU pet passport. Of course, the small female dog would also be thrilled with a fostercare home! Thank you, Claudia B.! You named Tasha! Date: 02.05. This animal is vaccinated. This animal is microchipped.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Vielen Dank Claudia B.! Du hast Tasha ihren Namen geschenkt! About Tasha

What life with Tasha looks like

Tasha is a extra-large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Tasha, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Tasha?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Tasha on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Tasha if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Tasha already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Tasha isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Tasha and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
