Ted

Male · Young · 2 years

Ted is a gentle, relaxed rabbit with a lovely calm and laid-back nature. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but quickly becomes friendly and inquisitive. He enjoys being stroked, groomed and brushed, and will happily come over for attention, especially if you have some delicious greens to offer. Once comfortable with you, Ted is also happy to be picked up. Ted is looking for a female Mini-Lop or a rabbit of a similar size to share his life with. With his gentle and easy-going personality, he would make a lovely companion for a first-time rabbit owner or family. Rabbits like Ted need plenty of space to exercise and explore. A well-matched pair of medium-sized rabbits requires a living area of at least 3 metres by 2 metres, allowing them room to run, hop and binky, all essential for their physical and emotional wellbeing.

About Ted

What life with Ted looks like

Ted is a medium-sized young adult rabbit waiting at RSPCA Radcliffe Animal Centre in United Kingdom.

Rabbits are social animals — most shelters recommend adopting them in bonded pairs rather than alone. They need fresh hay daily, several hours of out-of-cage time, and rabbit-safe spaces to explore. They live eight to twelve years, longer than many people expect.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

Frequently asked

Adopting Ted, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Ted?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Radcliffe Animal Centre handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Ted on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Ted if I live in another country?
Sometimes. Whether a rabbit can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask RSPCA Radcliffe Animal Centre what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Ted already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
What a rabbit comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask RSPCA Radcliffe Animal Centre directly what is included and what Ted still needs.
What happens if Ted isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Radcliffe Animal Centre early rather than rehoming privately; they know Ted and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
