Teddy is a gentle and affectionate Greyhound who is hoping to find a quiet home where he can relax and enjoy spending time with his new family. He loves meeting people and is always keen to say hello to both familiar faces and new friends. Teddy enjoys a gentle fuss and would suit a home with sensible teenagers who can understand and respect his body language, giving him space when he needs it. When out and about, Teddy walks beautifully on the lead and enjoys exploring the world on his daily walks. He is friendly with most dogs, although he can find very bouncy or excitable dogs a little overwhelming. For this reason, Teddy could share his home with a calm and steady sighthound who will respect his space and allow him to relax. As with many Greyhounds, Teddy will need patient and gentle introductions to home life home that can help him adjust to life outside of kennels. His new family should be prepared to support him as he learns about household routines and settles into his new surroundings. He will need a private, secure garden where he can relax off lead. Teddy is a lovely, gentle soul who will make a wonderful companion for new owners looking for a friendly and affectionate dog.
