Tequila was brought to us as a foundling. She’s chipped, but not properly registered. Who was her owner? How did she end up in a residential area in Goes? Was she abandoned? Or perhaps she simply ran away? We’ll never know, because unfortunately no owner has come forward for Tequila. But she’s now completely ready for her new home. Thanks to her chip, we at least know her name and age (over 10 years old). Unfortunately, we don’t know anything else about her or her past. Here at our shelter, we see an incredibly friendly and happy dog. At first, she was very fearful and cautious—but of course, that’s understandable. Tequila now thoroughly enjoys all the attention she receives, and she doesn’t pay any attention to the other dogs. However, she reacts very strongly to cats. Therefore, we won’t place her in a household where cats live. Otherwise, she’s looking for a quiet home where she can relax and enjoy her golden years in peace. Tequila is als vondeling bij ons binnen gebracht. Wel gechipt, maar niet (goed) geregistreerd. Wie was haar eigenaar? Hoe komt ze in een woonwijk in Goes terecht? Is ze gedumpt? Of misschien toch weggelopen? We zullen het nooit weten, want een eigenaar heeft zich helaas niet gemeld voor Tequila. Maar ze is inmiddels helemaal klaar voor haar nieuwe thuis. Dankzij haar chip weten we in ieder geval haar naam en leeftijd (ruim 10 jaar). Verder weten we helaas niets over haar of haar verleden. Hier in ons asiel zien we een ontzettend vriendelijke en blije hond. In het begin was ze wel erg bang/afwachtend, maar dat is natuurlijk ook te begrijpen. Tequila geniet inmiddels van alle aandacht die ze krijgt en van de andere honden trekt ze zich niets aan. Op katten reageert ze echter enorm fel. We plaatsen haar dus niet in een huishouden waar katten wonen. Verder zoekt ze een rustig thuis waar ze op haar gemak van haar oude dag mag en kan gaan genieten.
