There, she shares her home with another female dog and gets along very well with her. In general, she gets along well with other dogs, but would certainly also do well as a single princess. Tessa is somewhat reserved and initially shy. She needs time to build trust and get used to new people and new environments. However, once she has won her heart, she shows her wonderful character: She can be playful and funny and is very affectionate. She loves to be petted and seeks closeness. She lived a long time in the animal shelter on Rhodes, so Tessa now wants to gradually get used to everyday life in a family. She is housebroken, can be left alone, is comfortable in a car, and gets along well with children of all ages. She shows no hunting instinct. Since she was found wandering alone on a street on Rhodes, we assume she was abandoned, as she was not suitable as a hunting or guard dog. We are looking for a family that gives Tessa the time to finally arrive and open up. Someone who gives her peace, patience, and loving guidance and helps her feel safe in a new environment. Dort teilt sie ihr Zuhause mit einer anderen Hündin und kommt super mit ihr klar. Im Allgemeinen versteht sie sich gut mit anderen Hunden, würde aber sicherlich auch gut als Einzelprinzessin klar kommen. Tessa ist noch etwas zurückhaltend und anfangs ängstlich. Sie braucht Zeit, um Vertrauen zu fassen und sich an neue Menschen und neue Umgebungen zu gewöhnen. Hat man ihr Herz jedoch erst erobert, zeigt sie ihren wunderbaren Charakter: Sie kann verspielt und witzig sein und ist ungemein verkuschelt. Sie liebt es, gestreichelt zu werden und sucht dabei Nähe. Sie lebte lange im Tierheim auf Rhodos, weshalb sich Tessa jetzt Schritt für Schritt an den Alltag in einer Familie gewöhnen möchte. Sie ist stubenrein, kann alleine bleiben, Auto fahren und versteht sich gut mit Kindern jeden Alters. Sie zeigt keinen Jagdtrieb. Da sie damals auf Rhodos alleine umherirrend auf einer Straße gefunden wurde, gehen wir davon aus, dass sie ausgesetzt wurde, da sie als Jagd oder Wachhund nicht geeignet war. Für Tessa suchen wir eine Familie, die ihr die Zeit gibt, endlich anzukommen und sich zu öffnen. Jemand, der ihr Ruhe, Geduld und liebevolle Führung schenkt und ihr dabei hilft, in einer neuen Umgebung sicher anzukommen und sich sicher zu fühlen.
