Der wunderschöne Rüde Texas ist ein sehr positiver, selbstbewusster und menschenorientierter Hund, der die Nähe seiner Bezugspersonen genießt und sich über Aufmerksamkeit und Streicheleinheiten sehr freut. Texas läuft gut an der Leine und zeigt sich draußen angenehm. Er liebt es, gekrault und gestreichelt zu werden und freut sich über jede Form von Zuwendung. Besonders begeistert ist er von gutem Essen – dabei springt er manchmal voller Freude wie ein junger Welpe in die Luft. Aktuell bringt Texas etwas Übergewicht mit, weshalb auf eine gesunde Ernährung und angemessene Bewegung geachtet werden sollte. Mit anderen Hunden ist Texas nicht pauschal verträglich. Mit ruhigen, eher unterwürfigen Hunden kommt er gut zurecht und lebt konfliktfrei zusammen. Treffen jedoch Hunde mit ähnlich starkem Charakter auf ihn, kann es zu Problemen kommen. Draußen sucht Texas keinen Streit und hält lieber Abstand zu anderen Tieren. Texas ist ein selbstständiger und charakterstarker Hund, der klare, ruhige Menschen an seiner Seite braucht.
