Adopt Thaï

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy

Thaï is up for adoption, visible in the 78! 🐕‍🦺Thaï's photos👇 You'll find her video at the bottom of the page. After a very complicated cohabitation with the second dog in the family, Thaï deserves a sweet home! Thaï is an adorable Argentine Mastiff LOF, purchased from a professional breeder at the age of 2 and a half months. She lived with a staff member for two years without any problems. After the staff member's passing, her owner decided to take in a second dog of the same breed as Thaï. The cohabitation was going well at first, but then the fights began. After an appeal to our association for help, we couldn't ignore the situation and hope that Thaï will finally have the chance to live a better life. She is a very obedient and affectionate dog. She is a very good, gentle, affectionate, intelligent, loyal, human-friendly, and protective dog. She is a true heart on legs, a cream of the crop, who just wants to give her love. She is very playful but a bit rough in play because she doesn't always sense her strength. Thaï loves forest walks. She doesn't pull on the leash. During the day, she enjoys a large, well-fenced yard, and at night, she is cozy in the basement. She gets along well with all humans (young or old). Thaï could share her home with children who are respectful. She lives with a cat and doesn't even chase it when it ventures into the garden. She must be the only dog in the home to give her a calm and safe environment. Thaï deserves a beautiful dog life, the tenderness of a home, the physical and mental activities necessary to channel her energy, and a family that truly considers her. For her well-being, it is imperative that this little one can enjoy a well-fenced garden to stretch her legs and sniff the fresh air in a nature-friendly environment. Thaï is looking for a peaceful, available, and sporty family, ready to share essential activities for her well-being, as well as moments of complicity through caresses and games, and who will integrate her as a true member of the family! Born on 28/03/2022, she has many years to live and deserves to find a warm home. ▶️ You are touched by this loving gaze, you want to offer her years of happiness? About Thaï

What life with Thaï looks like

Thaï is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Animaux sans famille in animaux sans famille.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Thaï, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Thaï?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Animaux sans famille handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Thaï on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Thaï if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Animaux sans famille will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Thaï already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Thaï isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Animaux sans famille early rather than rehoming privately; they know Thaï and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
