adoption requirements adoption process Now adopt this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Thallulah was locally adopted… Her story: The beautiful Thallulah is searching for a forever home. Thallulah is a beautiful 4-year-old female Husky looking for a loving home. She has already given birth to puppies but was not allowed to raise them for too long as her original owner wanted to sell her. Fortunately, the owner agreed that we can now search for a caring home where Thallulah will be loved and cherished. Sadly, dogs in Romania are not treated like family members, so we are especially happy to be able to find a forever home for the pretty mouse and let her finally experience the life she deserves. Thallulah is likely purebred and has the typical dense fur of Huskies, in shades of gray and white, and beautiful Husky characteristics like blue eyes. Huskies are known for their energy, intelligence, and strong hunting instinct. They are friendly, gentle, and love to be active outdoors. A Husky is definitely not a couch potato and would likely cause some damage to the apartment furnishings if not adequately exercised. Therefore, we wish to find people who can properly and responsibly care for our pretty Thallulah and who may already have experience with Huskies. Huskies are amazing dogs that require a lot of attention but are well-balanced and great family dogs. Thallulah travels neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated with an EU pet passport to her new home. We would also be very happy to have a foster home for the Husky lady. Would you like to actively share the day-to-day life with Thallulah and then enjoy some well-deserved cuddle time? With her loving nature, she will surely bring you a lot of joy. Many thanks to Theresa! You named Thallulah. Date: 19.07.

Vielen Dank an Theresa! Du hast Thallulah ihren Namen geschenkt. Stand: 19.07.2024

About Thallulah

What life with Thallulah looks like

Thallulah is a large adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Thallulah, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Thallulah?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Thallulah on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Thallulah if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Thallulah already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Thallulah isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Thallulah and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
