Max is a big, boisterous, ‘goofy’, full of energy 2-year-old male pug! Before being surrendered to the PDWRA 6 weeks ago, Max had spent most of his life living in a kennel in the back yard. He hadn’t had much human or other animal contact and slept and ate outside. Initially, this was a challenge for his foster family because Max thought the house was his toilet area, and he would drag his fluffy beds to the garden to sleep! With a lot of coaxing, patience and constant ‘treat training’ Max is now 95% toilet trained and only has the occasional accident. 🐶 Max enjoys the younger pug company and
