His story: The big polar bear full of love wants to share his den with you – Theodor is looking for his home! male dog at senior age seeks a loving family connection. Theodor appears to be younger than five years old – he would rather play and frolic all day long! He is very friendly and simply full of life. He likes to be outside in the garden and observe the surroundings, but he is immediately deterred from barking. He takes commands very well and already responds to his name. When strangers enter the house, he is initially skeptical and watchful, but can be easily guided. Theodor likes children! They are always welcome to come to him and hug him. In the house, Theodor is already very relaxed, accepts the rules and boundaries of living together, has no problems with unfamiliar noises or household appliances, and sleeps soundly through the night. With another dog, Theodor can stay alone, but he is still restless and sometimes howls when alone. During walks, Theodor is not yet so relaxed – when other dogs approach, he would so much like to play that one must be firmly on their feet. The foster home is working on leash control and recall. Getting into the car is still a challenge for Theodor, but he takes the rides very calmly. Theodor still finds cats interesting and is very friendly towards them. Theodor may have been used for protecting a sheep herd and then discarded – his torn ear and castrated tail tell a silent part of his story. But Theodor has kept his heart of gold – the large male dog is full of love for all beings! He is incredibly affectionate with all people, including children, fellow animals, and also cats. Currently, he often sleeps side by side with a black cat. Theodor is simply 50 kilograms of love and kindness! Theodor is looking for his family that has space for the large male dog – especially a place in their hearts! Theodor is at his prime, looks wisely and maturely upon the world, and wishes to experience that his love is unconditionally returned. Seine Geschichte: Großer Eisbär voller Liebe möchte seine Scholle mit Euch teilen – Theodor sucht sein Zuhause! Rüde im besten Alter sucht liebevollen Familienanschluss. Theodor scheint jünger als fünf Jahre zu sein – er möchte am liebsten den ganzen Tag spielen und toben! Dabei ist er sehr freundlich und einfach lebensfroh. Er ist gerne draußen im Garten und beobachtet die Umgebung, lässt sich aber sofort davon abbringen, zu bellen. Er nimmt Kommandos sehr gut an und reagiert auch schon auf seinen Namen. Wenn fremde Menschen das Haus betreten, ist er zunächst skeptisch und wachsam, lässt sich aber gut lenken. Kinder findet Theodor toll! Sie dürfen jederzeit zu ihm kommen und ihn auch umarmen. Im Haus ist Theodor schon jetzt sehr entspannt, akzeptiert die Regeln und Grenzen des Zusammenlebens, hat keinerlei Probleme mit ungewohnten Geräuschen oder Haushaltsgeräten und schläft nachts wohlig schlummernd durch. Mit einem weiteren Hund kann Theodor alleine bleiben, ganz alleine ist er noch unruhig und heult zeitweise. Beim Spazierengehen ist Theodor noch nicht so entspannt – wenn andere Hunde entgegenkommen, möchte er so gerne spielen, dass man schon standfest sein muss. Die Pflegestelle arbeitet an der Leinenführigkeit und auch am Rück- / Abruf. Zum Einsteigen ins Auto muss Theodor noch überredet werden, die Fahrten aber nimmt er schon ganz gelassen hin. Katzen findet Theodor weiterhin interessant und ist ihnen gegenüber sehr freundlich gesinnt. Theodor wurde vielleicht für das Beschützen einer Schafherde eingesetzt und dann ausrangiert – sein eingerissenes Ohr und die abgetrennte Rute erzählen stumm einen Teil seiner Geschichte. Theodor aber hat sich sein Herz aus Gold bewahrt – der stattliche Rüde ist voller Liebe für alle Wesen der Welt! Er ist unglaublich herzlich mit allen Menschen, auch Kindern, mit Artgenossen und auch Katzen. Zurzeit schläft er oft Seite an Seite mit einer schwarzen Katze. Theodor ist einfach 50 Kilogramm Liebe und Güte! Theodor sucht seine Familie, die Platz für den großen Rüden hat – vor allen Dingen einen Platz in ihren Herzen! Theodor ist im besten Alter, blickt klug und erwachsen auf die Welt und möchte jetzt gerne erleben, dass seine Liebe bedingungslos erwidert wird. Er wünscht sich gemeinsame Zeit unter freiem Himmel genauso wie einen Kuschelplatz im Haus – und möchte sich einfügen als liebevoller Begleiter für alle Familienmitglieder.
