Tia is now ready to find her forever home, she is a 9 year old Pharoah Hound. Tia came to us after her family had a baby and as the baby hit 11 months the situation they stated became untenable. We believe having been in her home since a puppy Tia has been quite spoilt and given huge amounts of attention. She was uncomfortable with the arrival of a new baby and after that we feel she was forced into a situation of isolation. All this has left Tia quite confused, needy and at times vocal. Tia now needs a home with people around a lot of the time to reinvest into settling her. She will not settle immediately as they are a very watchful and often curious breed that do like company. We feel that Tia has spent vast amounts of time potentially crated as she does seek them out for comfort so it may be an option for short period leaves. When alone Tia does settle it’s when you’re around she’s demanding of attention. Tia needs to live with another dog. If one on one it needs to be male she has lived with a male lurcher in her previous home. With a laid back female dog and a steady male to balance things out she could live as dog number 3. Tia is clean, travels well and walks well on the lead. Tia does have a bit of a prey drive and non existent recall so must only be allowed off in safe enclosed spaces. Tia cannot be rehomed with children younger than teenagers and must head into a home with no visiting youngsters. She would love a nice quiet household where she can be the centre of attention. She loves to play with toys and happily flings them around the place. Tia can not be rehomed with cats or small furries. Tia is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped, spayed and has received a dental. Tia is currently located in Stoke-on-Trent and any family wishing to offer her a home must be willing to travel to visit her with all members of the immediate family.
