La historia de Tiburón Brie comenzó con un aviso: había un gato herido en un barrio de Callosa de Segura. Cuando conseguimos recogerlo, su estado era tan grave que no pasó por la protectora. Fuimos directamente al hospital veterinario y quedó ingresado. Lo que encontraron allí era difícil de imaginar. Tenía parte del paladar, la garganta y la boca necrosados, además de una inflamación muy importante. Había sido herido por disparos de perdigón y, todavía hoy, conserva uno alojado en la zona de las costillas. Aquella agresión le dejó también una fístula oronasal, una comunicación entre la boca y la nariz que ha necesitado varias cirugías para intentar cerrarse. Su recuperación no fue cuestión de semanas: Tiburón Brie ha necesitado alrededor de un año y medio para llegar hasta aquí. ❤️‍🩹 Y después de todo lo vivido, Tiburón sigue teniendo una forma muy particular de hacerse notar: su maullido trompetero, imposible de confundir con el de ningún otro gato. 📯🐱 Lo escuchas antes incluso de verlo. Luego están sus ojos. Esos ojos grandes y de mirada triste que parecen contar por sí solos una historia que él no puede explicar. Una mirada que contrasta con ese maullido tan peculiar y con las ganas que todavía tiene de acercarse a las personas. Durante diez meses pudo recuperarse en una casa de acogida, donde conoció la tranquilidad de una casa, las rutinas y el cariño más cercano. Pero esa etapa terminó y Tiburón Brie ha tenido que regresar a la protectora. 🏠💔 Además, es positivo a leucemia felina (FeLV), algo que tendremos en cuenta a la hora de encontrar la familia adecuada para él, pero que no borra todo lo demás que es ni todo lo que todavía puede vivir. Después de hospitales, operaciones, curas y meses de recuperación, Tiburón Brie ya ha luchado bastante. Ahora no buscamos a alguien que lo salve. Eso ya lo hizo él. Buscamos una familia que mire más allá de su historia, de sus cicatrices y de esos ojos que a veces parecen cansados. Una familia que pueda ofrecerle tranquilidad, seguridad, cariño y un lugar donde no tenga que volver a empezar de cero. 🏡❤️ Porque después de sobrevivir a todo esto, lo mínimo que merece Tiburón Brie es que su siguiente capítulo empiece en casa… y que su maullido trompetero termine formando parte de la rutina de alguien.
