He came to us at the animal shelter as a stray cat, but unfortunately, no one has come forward who missed him. For Batzi, this means a new beginning and hopefully soon a loving home. In terms of character, he is an absolute dream cat: affectionate, easygoing, cuddly, and playful. He gets along very well with other cats, also gets along well with dogs, and has no problems with children. Batzi is a real all-rounder who quickly wins hearts with his open and friendly nature. However, he is not completely healthy: Batzi suffers from IBD, a chronic inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract. With the right food (currently Royal Canin Gastro Intestinal) and daily vitamin B12 supplements, he is well managed and copes very well. However, Batzi reacts very sensitively to stress. Too many changes or noise quickly lead to severe diarrhea. Therefore, it is particularly important that his new home is quiet and stable and offers him security. Frequent changes or a lot of commotion should be avoided at all costs. A pure suitable for apartment living is not ideal for Batzi, at the same time, unsecured outdoor access is not possible due to his illness.
