Tigrou et Titus

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Adult · 7 years

These inseparable brothers were born in the garden of a man who loves animals. Touched by their distress and hoping to give them a better future, he wanted to keep them. Unfortunately, several life circumstances were not favorable for these small ones: between incompatibilities with other animals in the house, sometimes too exclusive, and the development of severe asthma for our benefactor's wife, Tigrou et Titus have often found themselves isolated. Confined for their own good and despite regular visits, the situation could not continue long-term, and with great anguish, the man decided to entrust them to us. They were lucky to be adopted together in 2021. Unfortunately, the arrival of a baby in the family disrupted their daily routine, causing changes in behavior. They need to find an attentive adopter and especially the stability they have lost. Tigrou et Titus are very close, they have developed a deep bond tending to reassure each other and provide the peace they need to relax and thus get closer to humans. Then, they become affectionate and seek contact; they had even gotten used to sleeping with their adopters. They only ask for the chance to build a real relationship with you. For their well-being, they will need secure access to the outside (yard, small garden, balcony, etc.). Tigrou is a very gentle cat who requires delicacy and patience to develop a bond of companionship with him. He is quite shy and prefers to observe rather than participate, but remains pleasant and touching. Not dominant or aggressive, he is a very calm tomcat who enjoys the comfort of a home. Up to date on vaccines, neutered, dewormed, identified, and tested negative for FIV/FELV. Like his brother, Titus is a very delicate cat, who also maintains a small reserve in initial contacts, giving him a very charming, precious appearance. He simply needs some time to adapt before fully trusting. Up to date on vaccines, neutered, dewormed, identified, and tested negative for FIV/FELV.

About Tigrou et Titus

What life with Tigrou et Titus looks like

Tigrou et Titus is a adult mixed breed cat waiting at La Voie Féline in la voie feline.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Tigrou et Titus, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Tigrou et Titus?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. La Voie Féline handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Tigrou et Titus on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Tigrou et Titus if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — La Voie Féline will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Tigrou et Titus already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Tigrou et Titus isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with La Voie Féline early rather than rehoming privately; they know Tigrou et Titus and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
