Adopt Tilli (Тіллі)

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 1 year

Tilly has a sacred scarf "Power of 100 Women" from last year's "Ukrainian Truth" ceremony. It should work as "Dog with a Wound on Its Head" without a wound on its head. Moreover, it has recovered so much that you would never say this dog was dying not long ago. From the Kharkiv clinic, Tilly moved to us near Kyiv, living in foster care, flourishing before our eyes. First of all, she is obedient. Not prone to escaping, causing damage, or even to other people's slippers. She doesn't dig under the fence, chases a ball, and does all tasks outside. She doesn't bother other animals. Tilly doesn't bark, so it is not suitable as a bell and it is definitely not a guard. Perfect for an apartment and a house. Small, short-legged, slightly like a corgi. Tilly is not a princess, not a gangster, but a friend and like-minded person.

About Tilli (Тіллі)

What life with Tilli (Тіллі) looks like

Tilli (Тіллі) is a small young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Happy Paw Kyiv in Ukraine.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇺🇦Adopting from Ukraine

The shelter typically completes the animal's vaccinations, microchipping, and pet passport before adoption. Specific fees and process details vary by shelter and country — confirm directly via the contact details in the sidebar.

Frequently asked

Adopting Tilli (Тіллі), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Tilli (Тіллі)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Happy Paw Kyiv handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Tilli (Тіллі) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Tilli (Тіллі) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Happy Paw Kyiv will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Tilli (Тіллі) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Tilli (Тіллі) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Happy Paw Kyiv early rather than rehoming privately; they know Tilli (Тіллі) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (UK). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
