Halt! I like you! But of course, that's really so. And you like me! Well, you don't know that yet, but you don't have to: I, Timon, know it! In my two years here, I've learned enough for eight cats, and I can tell right away when there's a good soul—and you, you'll definitely tell me your name later, are such a good soul! I just know that, because I'm also very sensitive. Unfortunately, a bit too sensitive, so small children aren't really for me. But when they're bigger, that's fine, but I'm just too sensitive for them.

Halt! Ich mag dich! Doch doch, ist wirklich so. Und du magst mich! Gut, das weißt du noch nicht, musst du aber auch nicht: Ich, Timon, weiß es! In meinen zwei Jahren habe ich genug für acht Katzen gelernt und ich merke sofort eine gute Seele und du – deinen Namen wirst du mir bestimmt später verraten – bist so eine gute Seele! Ich spüre das einfach, denn ich bin auch sehr sensibel. Leider etwas zu sensibel, daher wären kleine Kinder nichts für mich. Wenn sie groß sind, das ist in Ordnung, aber ich bin leider einfach sehr empfindlich. Das mag auch daran liegen, dass ich einen Herzfehler habe –
