Timon the kitten carries a story that no animal should ever experience. As a tiny kitten, he was thrown over the shelter fence - with his whiskers cut short, burns and injuries indicating that he had been mistreated before being discarded by someone. His front paw suffered the worst damage, devastated by human cruelty. Time and treatment have healed the wounds on his body. The paw has recovered. But trust in humans heals much more slowly. Timon needs a person in his life but still keeps his distance. Not because he doesn't want love - just that he hasn't learned to believe it can be safe yet. He is cautious, sensitive and needs someone who won't expect instant affection from him. We are looking for a patient and understanding family for Timon, who will give him time, space and not give up on the first steps back. Maybe one day just because of such a person he will find out that hands don't have to hurt but can bring peace. An ideal home for him would be a house with a garden and a safely secured enclosure where he could observe the world at his own pace and feel free even in safety. Will we manage to find a home for Timon despite his distrust? We believe that somewhere there is a person who will understand that the most cautious hearts often love the deepest. Kocúrik Timon si nesie príbeh, aký by nemalo zažiť žiadne zviera. Ako malé mačiatko bol prehodený cez plot útulku – s poskracovanými fúzikmi, popáleninami a zraneniami, ktoré naznačovali, že predtým, než sa ho niekto zbavil, mu bolo ublížené. Najhoršie dopadla jeho predná labka, zdevastovaná ľudskou krutosťou.Čas a liečba zahojili rany na tele. Labka sa uzdravila. No dôvera v človeka sa hojí oveľa pomalšie. Timon potrebuje človeka vo svojom živote, ale stále si drží odstup. Nie preto, že by nechcel lásku – len sa ešte nenaučil veriť, že môže byť bezpečná. Je opatrný, citlivý a potrebuje niekoho, kto od neho nebude čakať okamžitú náklonnosť. Pre Timonka hľadáme trpezlivú a chápavú rodinku, ktorá mu dá čas, priestor a nebude sa vzdávať pri prvých krokoch späť. Možno raz práve vďaka takému človeku zistí, že ruky nemusia ubližovať, ale môžu prinášať pokoj. Ideálny domov pre neho by bol dom so záhradkou a bezpečne zabezpečeným výbehom, kde by mohol pozorovať svet svojím tempom a cítiť sa slobodne aj v bezpečí.
