Update 02. 03. 2026 Für Timón wünschen wir uns sehr, dass 2026 sein Jahr wird – dass er endlich gesehen wird und sein eigenes Zuhause findet. In dem halben Jahr, das der hübsche Bub nun im Refugio verbringt, hat er bereits große Fortschritte gemacht: Er ist Fremden gegenüber nicht mehr ganz so ängstlich und lässt sich mittlerweile gerne streicheln. Timón ist dabei weder aufdringlich noch fordernd; er ist einfach nur freundlich und angenehm zurückhaltend. Er braucht eine Familie, die ihm die nötige Zeit schenkt, um in seinem eigenen Tempo anzukommen und Vertrauen aufzubauen. Menschen, die ihn geduldig in sein neues Leben führen und ihm alles beibringen, was er dafür wissen muss. Timón ist noch so jung und hat es mehr als verdient, endlich das Leben zu führen, nach dem er sich so sehnt. Wer ihm tief in die Augen schaut, erkennt sofort, was für eine wunderbare Seele er ist. Wer sich mit der Rasse Podenco auskennt und ihre besonderen Eigenschaften liebt, darf sich gerne bei uns melden. Wir warten voller Hoffnung! Auch Timón trägt dieses feine, fast magische Wesen in sich: vorsichtig, sanft, aufmerksam – und voller Herz, wenn man es schafft, sein Vertrauen zu gewinnen. Timón ist noch ein junger Hund, gerade einmal sechs Monate alt, doch seine Augen erzählen jetzt schon Geschichten – von Verlorensein, von Hoffnung und von Menschen, die ihm geholfen haben. Er wurde ausgesetzt und konnte nur dank eines engagierten Tierschützers gerettet werden. Im Refugio zeigt sich Timón anfänglich zurückhaltend gegenüber Fremden, doch bei vertrauten Menschen blüht er auf. Dann ist er anhänglich, sanft, freundlich – ein echter Schatz. Mit anderen Hunden, ob Rüde oder Hündin, versteht er sich bei uns problemlos. Timón bringt mit, was Podencos ausmacht: eine große Sensibilität, Intelligenz und sehr wahrscheinlich einen ausgeprägten Jagdtrieb. Wer sich für ihn interessiert, sollte wissen, dass ein Leben ohne Leine im Gelände meist keine Option ist. Ein gut gesicherter Garten, spannende Spaziergänge an der Schleppleine und geistige Auslastung sind ideale Voraussetzungen für einen glücklichen Podenco-Alltag. Ein Zuhause mit Geduld, Liebe und ein wenig Verständnis für das Podenco-Herz – das ist es, was Timón braucht, um ganz er selbst zu werden.
