Adopt Timoshka (Тімошка)

Mixed Breed · Male · Kitten

Meet the kitten Timoshka. He is only 1.5 months old, but he already knows what betrayal and cruelty are. While walking with a dog after the rain in the forest, they heard meowing and found a cat mother with kittens under a bush. Someone left them in the forest at will. The mother came out to people and begged for help and to save her children. They didn't have the strength to leave the wet little bundles and despite the dog, the family temporarily took them in for foster care, but the dog's owners show aggression towards the young ones, so the search for a home for them is very urgent. In the future, we will help with spaying. The kitten is very good, gentle, healthy, playful. He already learned to use the litter box. It's very much desired to find him owners, so that the little kitten will never know again what cold and hunger on the street are, and how it feels to sit wet under a bush in uncertainty. Do a good deed. Don't buy - save this life that has just begun. He has nowhere to go and where to live further. Call and take the kitten, Timoshka is waiting very much for his person.

About Timoshka (Тімошка)

What life with Timoshka (Тімошка) looks like

Timoshka (Тімошка) is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Happy Paw Kyiv in Ukraine.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇺🇦Adopting from Ukraine

The shelter typically completes the animal's vaccinations, microchipping, and pet passport before adoption. Specific fees and process details vary by shelter and country — confirm directly via the contact details in the sidebar.

Frequently asked

Adopting Timoshka (Тімошка), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Timoshka (Тімошка)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Happy Paw Kyiv handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Timoshka (Тімошка) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Timoshka (Тімошка) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Happy Paw Kyiv will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Timoshka (Тімошка) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Timoshka (Тімошка) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Happy Paw Kyiv early rather than rehoming privately; they know Timoshka (Тімошка) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (UK). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
