Tinkerbell

Mixed Breed Cat · Female · Young · 1 year

✨ It’s Tinkerbell’s turn… ✨ At around just 1 year old, beautiful Tinkerbell has already spent much of her life putting everyone else first. She came into the care of RSPCA Bluebell Ridge from a multi-animal household where, as an entire female, she had litter after litter of kittens. While most cats her age were enjoying their kittenhood, Tinkerbell was busy raising babies. It’s a responsibility no young cat should have to carry. Now those days are behind her, and for the first time, Tinkerbell has the chance to simply be a young cat. She is loving the peace and freedom of having her own space, so she’s looking for a home with no other pets, where she can leave the pressures of her past behind for good. She could happily live with older children aged 10 years and over who will respect her need for a calm and loving environment. Tinkerbell has so much love to give. She absolutely adores a fuss and will happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give her. She deserves cosy beds, gentle cuddles, lazy afternoons in the sunshine and a family who will spoil her rotten. She’s spent her whole life caring for everyone else. Now it’s Tinkerbell’s turn to be the one who’s cared for. 💖 Could you be the happy ending this beautiful girl has been waiting for? About Tinkerbell

What life with Tinkerbell looks like

Tinkerbell is a young adult mixed breed cat cat waiting at RSPCA Brighton & The Heart of Sussex in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Tinkerbell, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Tinkerbell?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Brighton & The Heart of Sussex handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Tinkerbell on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Tinkerbell if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — RSPCA Brighton & The Heart of Sussex will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Tinkerbell already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Tinkerbell isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Brighton & The Heart of Sussex early rather than rehoming privately; they know Tinkerbell and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
