Adopt Titi

European Shorthair · Male · Senior · 14 years

Age: born on 11/01/2011 Identification: JCN402 Physical characteristics: a tabby cat with green eyes. Neutered, FIV/Felv tested negative, identified by tattoo, vaccinated. Personality: This little treasure is almost 14 years old, but his good health and small size make his age quickly forgotten! - Very clean and easy to live with. - Eats freely (he manages his own food, except that he loves wet food and will remind you of it). - Extremely affectionate: he likes to be held in your arms, sleep near you and share real moments of tenderness. - Curious and attached, he will quickly conquer your heart. Note: he is deaf. This does not pose any problem in daily life, but he can sometimes look for you when he doesn't see you anymore. In this case, he meows until he finds you or until you come to reassure him. In short: after welcoming more than 10 cats in foster care, we can confidently say that this little cat will melt your heart. Adorable, cute, affectionate, clean and attached, he is the perfect companion for a loving home that wants to offer a gentle retirement to an exceptional cat. Story: his first owner had to separate from him reluctantly because his new partner was highly allergic to cats. His first life was in a house with secure access to the outside. Entered the CDA in 2023, it was his foster family who adopted him the same year, but they also became allergic in recent months, so Titi has returned to us. Ideal placement: in a fairly large home (minimum 60m2), kind, calm (without young children) and very present, Titi really loves and seeks company. Contact: animal visible in foster care in Paris 12th. Contact Karine at (evening after 7 pm & weekends), by email or via web form.

About Titi

What life with Titi looks like

Titi is a small senior european shorthair cat waiting at Club de Défense des Animaux Paris 12 in Paris.

Senior cats are the gentlest house guests: predictable, mostly silent, and grateful for a sunny windowsill. Older cats often have minor dental or kidney issues — keep an eye on water intake and weight. Many sleep eighteen hours a day and want no part of any drama.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Titi, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Titi?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Club de Défense des Animaux Paris 12 handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Titi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Titi if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Club de Défense des Animaux Paris 12 will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Titi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Titi isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Club de Défense des Animaux Paris 12 early rather than rehoming privately; they know Titi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
