He is a beautiful male born in mid-2018. He comes from Puglia but has been in Pavia at a shelter for several months. Toby is a bit cautious and fearful, especially with men: that is why since he has been in the Pavia shelter he has started a course with a trainer. Toby becomes very playful when he gets attached, he loves to run and be outdoors but also enjoys being at home with people who care for him. He knows how to walk on a leash in quiet places without too many stimuli. He has made great progress and, compared to the beginning, the situation has clearly improved even when he is with some male humans; however, if there is a female figure, he chooses that one! He allows to be petted on the neck, while before he had difficulty accepting being touched in that area. He uses hypoallergenic food and is currently undergoing behavioral therapy with Fluoxetine. It is preferable an adoption in a quiet environment, without children and with a trainer. We require completion of the pre-adoption questionnaire and the pre-adoption visit. Lui è un bellissimo maschietto nato a metà 2018. Proviene dalla Puglia ma da diversi mesi si trova a Pavia in un rifugio. Toby è un po’ diffidente e pauroso soprattutto con gli uomini: ecco perché da quando si trova in rifugio a Pavia ha avviato un percorso con un educatore. Toby quando si affeziona diventa molto giocherellone, ama correre e stare all’aria aperta ma adora anche stare in casa con le persone che gli vogliono bene. Sa andare al guinzaglio in contesti tranquilli e senza troppi stimoli. Ha fatto molti passi avanti e, rispetto all’inizio, la situazione è nettamente migliorata anche quando sta in compagnia di qualche umano maschio; se però c’è una figura femminile, sceglie quest’ultima! Si fa accarezzare nella zona del collo mentre prima faceva fatica ad accettare di essere toccato in quella zona. Utilizza cibo Anallergenic e attualmente segue la terapia comportamentale con la Fluoxetina. È preferibile un’adozione in un contesto tranquillo, senza bambini e un percorso con educatore.
