Two male Abandoned Animals/Indoor Living Born May 2016 EKH-Mixed Breed, likely with Maine Coon Castrated yes / [] no In the shelter since April 23, 2026 ________________________ We test each cat via rapid test for FIV ("Cat Aids", information here!) and FeLV ("Cat Leukosis", information here!) and clarify about the status. We inform here about the risk of FIP disease ("Belly Inflammation"). ________________________ Together with five other cats, brothers Tom and Lucky were transferred to us for health reasons. They live in one of our foster homes in Marburg and can be visited there by appointment (contact via the animal shelter). Tom and Lucky are very charming, loving, gentle cats that are happy about caresses and cuddling time and look for a relaxed, quiet home where they feel safe. Especially Tom is a very, very cautious, shy treasure who initially prefers to make himself very small and hide under a blanket, but also likes to be stroked and stroked and really enjoys it. Lucky is bolder and more lively, also plays through the apartment for five minutes and goes on a little tour of discovery. We are looking exclusively for a shared home for them, they give each other much support and especially Tom needs Luckys somewhat more self-confident side by his side. Both know only indoor living and will - solely because of Tom's very shy nature - also be remediated again in such a way. A balcony would please them, but it is not a must. Tom and Lucky are very large cats and especially Lucky unfortunately slightly overweight. It should be paid special attention to good food and exercise with movement in the new home. Tom already had a comprehensive dental sanitation due to FORL (Resorptive Lesions) in his old home and currently has no abnormalities. FORL (Resorptive Lesions) is an tooth root disease that occurs in about 50% of all cats. The blood values of both are unremarkable. 2x männlich Abgabetiere/Wohnungshaltung Geboren 05/2016 EKH-Mixe, vmtl. mit Maine Coon Kastriert ja / [] nein Im Tierheim seit 23.04.2026 ________________________ Wir testen jede Katze per Schnelltest auf FIV („Katzen-Aids“, Infos hier!) und FeLV („Katzen-Leukose“, Infos hier!) und klären über den Status auf. Wir informieren hier über das Risiko einer FIP-Erkrankung („Bauchfellentzündung“). ________________________ Gemeinsam mit fünf weiteren Katern wurden die Brüder Tom und Lucky schweren Herzens aus gesundheitlichen Gründen an uns übereignet. Sie wohnen auf einer unserer Pflegestellen in Marburg und können dort nach Terminabsprache (Kontakt über das Tierheim) besucht werden. Tom und Lucky sind ganz bezaubernde, liebe, sanfte Kater, die glücklich sind über Streicheleinheiten und Schmusezeit und ein möglichst entspanntes, ruhiges Zuhause suchen, in dem sie sich sicher fühlen dürfen. Besonders Tom ist ein ganz, ganz vorsichtiger, schüchterner Schatz, der sich anfangs am liebsten ganz klein macht und unter einer Decke versteckt, sich dabei aber auch gerne kraulen und streicheln lässt und das dann richtig genießt. Lucky ist mutiger und aufgeweckter, tobt auch mal fünf Minuten durch die Wohnung und geht ein wenig auf Entdeckungstour. Wir suchen für sie ausschließlich ein gemeinsames Zuhause, sie geben einander viel Halt und besonders Tom braucht Luckys etwas selbstbewusstere Art an seiner Seite. Beide kennen nur Wohnungshaltung und werden – allein aufgrund von Toms sehr schüchterner Art – auch wieder in solche vermittelt. Ein Balkon würde sie freuen, ist aber kein Muss. Tom und Lucky sind sehr große Kater und besonders Lucky leider etwas übergewichtig. Es sollte im neuen Zuhause ganz besonders auf gutes Futter und Beschäftigung mit Bewegung geachtet werden. Tom hatte bereits im alten Zuhause eine umfassende Zahnsanierung wegen FORL und hat aktuell keine Auffälligkeiten. FORL (Resorptive Läsionen) ist eine Zahnwurzelerkrankung, die bei gut 50% aller Katzen vorliegt und auftritt. Die Blutwerte der beiden sind unauffällig. Wir hoffen sehr, dass die zwei süßen Schätzchen sehr bald ein festes Zuhause finden und dort viele wohlbehütete Jahre mit vielen Schmusestunden geschenkt bekommen! ________________________ (Stand 08.06.2026) Tom (& Lucky) Lucky: (Bilder anklicken um sie in voller Größe zu sehen!)
