Tommy is an ex racing greyhound who has spent his life in kennels. He is now looking for a comfortable and loving home to call his own. He will need a family that is happy to introduce and train him around everything that is involved in living in a home environment. Tommy is a very affectionate boy and has been described as a velcro dog by the kennel staff. He is after a home where he can get plenty of attention and cuddles throughout the day. He is a big foodie and is motivated by treats, which is a bonus to help with training. Tommy is confident around staff and volunteers but due to his size we believe that he would be best suited to an adult only home. Tommy is a little unsure around most dogs so will need further positive training to help build up his confidence in this area. He is currently paired with another greyhound in the kennel and has has no issues with her, so we believe that he could be rehomed with another calm greyhound or sighthound – subject to a successful meet.
