Although he can be nervous when meeting new people, once he knows and trusts you, he's an affectionate, loyal companion who loves cuddles, kisses and leaning in for reassurance.One of Tommy's biggest achievements has been finding the confidence to explore our paddocks, something that once felt far too overwhelming for him. Every day he continues to grow in confidence, and we're so proud of how far he's come.Tommy is looking for a calm, predictable home with patient adopters who can continue building his confidence through kindness and positive reinforcement. He's still learning some of life's basics and will flourish with someone willing to give him the time he deserves.Due to his past experiences, Tommy can be wary of unfamiliar people. He would be happiest in a quieter home with few visitors, where he can settle in at his own pace.Tommy will need to be the only dog in the home, but he could potentially live with a calm, dog-savvy cat, subject to successful introductions. He is suitable for households with children aged 15 years and over and will need a secure garden where he can relax and continue building his confidence.If you're looking for a gentle, devoted companion and have the patience to help a deserving dog blossom, Tommy could be the perfect addition to your family.
