Tonda, born approximately December 2023, neutered, approximately 70 cm shoulder height, in the shelter since November 2025. Tonda is a young, large male with three legs. He is very affectionate, cuddly and seeks closeness - sometimes he is still not 100% sure everything is okay and needs a short moment to gain trust. With calm, clear guidance, he will open up further. Optically, Tonda is a real eye-catcher: strikingly bright and very well-groomed. He gets along well with other dogs. He has a shortened tail. This does not cause any health problems. Entry into Switzerland is therefore not possible. Since he is probably part Herding Dog, it is possible that he develops corresponding behaviors in his new home. Therefore, we are looking for a rural home with a fenced garden, preferably with people who have already gained experience with Herding Dogs or their crossbreeds and appreciate their characteristics. Currently located in Romania and allowed to leave if a home is found. Travels chipped and vaccinated (EU vaccination passport; vaccinations: rabies and basic immunization). All dogs are treated against intestinal parasites and ectoparasites at their arrival in the shelter and at least once a year thereafter. The described behavioral observations are based on everyday life in the shelter and may be different in a domestic environment under changed living conditions. 12/2025 Tonda, geboren ca. 12/2023, kastriert, ca. 70 cm Schulterhöhe, im Shelter seit 11/2025 Tonda ist ein junger, großer Rüde mit drei Beinen. Er ist sehr lieb, verschmust und sucht gerne Nähe – dabei ist er manchmal noch nicht zu 100 % sicher, ob alles in Ordnung ist, und braucht einen kurzen Moment, um Vertrauen zu fassen. Mit ruhiger, klarer Führung wird er sich weiter öffnen. Optisch ist Tonda ein echter Hingucker: auffallend hell und sehr gepflegt. Mit anderen Hunden kommt er gut zurecht. Er hat eine verkürzte Rute. Diese bereitet keinerlei gesundheitliche Beschwerden. Eine Einreise in die Schweiz ist dadurch nicht möglich Da er vermutlich zum Teil Herdenschutzhund ist, kann es sein, dass er in seinem neuen Zuhause entsprechende Verhaltensweisen entwickelt. Daher wünschen wir uns für ihn ein ländlich gelegenes Zuhause mit einem eingezäunten Garten, bestenfalls bei Menschen die bereits Erfahrung mit Herdenschutzhunden oder deren Mischlingen sammeln konnten und deren Eigenschaften zu schätzen wissen. Befindet sich aktuell in Rumänien und darf ausreisen, wenn er ein Zuhause gefunden hat. Reist gechipt und geimpft (EU Impfpass; Impfungen: Tollwut und Grundimmunisierung). Alle Hunde werden bei ihrer Ankunft im Shelter sowie anschließend mindestens einmal jährlich gegen Darmparasiten und Ektoparasiten behandelt. Die geschilderten Verhaltensbeobachtungen basieren auf dem Alltag im Shelter und können sich in einem häuslichen Umfeld unter veränderten Lebensbedingungen entsprechend anders darstellen.
