The Toninho was found quite weakened in a colony in Ramalde (Porto), which, thanks to the attentive eye of the caretaker, quickly realized not only that he was not neutered but that something was wrong with him. Despite a somewhat turbulent beginning in foster care, with consultations, treatments, and eventually sterilization, the Toninho never revealed any anger or frustration, as if he knew that everything was being done for his recovery. O Toninho foi encontrado numa colónia em Ramalde (Porto), que graças ao olhar atento da cuidadora rapidamente percebeu que não só não estava castrado como algo de errado se passava com ele. Apesar de um início de acolhimento um pouco atribulado, com consultas, tratamentos e mais tarde a esterilização, o Toninho nunca se revelou zangado ou aborrecido, como se soubesse que tudo era feito em prol da sua recuperação.
