Adopt Tor (Тор)

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 5 years

We named him Excavator, abbreviated to Tor. What do you think why? Because he eats very greedily, fills his whole mouth with food, as if he is eating for the last time. Tor has been with us since the end of March, when the first batch of cats came from Bucha. Contact, nice, young. Finally, we did a photoshoot for him and can now find him a home. He is so great!

About Tor (Тор)

What life with Tor (Тор) looks like

Tor (Тор) is a adult mixed breed cat waiting at Happy Paw Kyiv in Ukraine.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇺🇦Adopting from Ukraine

Frequently asked

Adopting Tor (Тор), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Tor (Тор)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Happy Paw Kyiv handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Tor (Тор) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Tor (Тор) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Happy Paw Kyiv will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Tor (Тор) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Tor (Тор) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Happy Paw Kyiv early rather than rehoming privately; they know Tor (Тор) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (UK). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
