Tora is one of three 4-year-old Abruzzese shepherd sisters, captured during the Giro d'Italia in Abruzzo in 2021, torn from the freedom they had always known. Before being caught, they lived freely among the mountains, developing the strong, independent, and intelligent character typical of their breed. Among the three, Tora stands out for her calm and reflective approach. She observes everything around her calmly, almost like a pack graduate, capable of maintaining balance among her companions. However, behind her deep eyes lies a distrust that requires time to overcome. Tora is looking for a special home, but for her it is essential to have a getting-to-know-you process with the future family, supported by our dog trainers. Only with patience and dedication will she feel safe and find her place in a family environment. Meanwhile, Tora is available for a foster adoption: a gesture that will ensure her care, food, and safety, giving her the possibility to continue living calmly in the animal shelter while waiting for the right family. Tora, Regina, and Fiamma are not just three sisters, but three souls bound by a common story and a deep bond. Each of them is seeking a chance, whether through a foster adoption or, one day, in a family that knows how to welcome them with love and awareness. Tora è una delle tre sorelle pastore abruzzesi di 4 anni, accalappiate durante il Giro d’Italia in Abruzzo nel 2021, strappate alla libertà che avevano sempre conosciuto. Prima di essere catturate, vivevano libere tra le montagne, sviluppando il carattere forte, indipendente e intelligente tipico della loro razza. Tra le tre, Tora è quella che si distingue per il suo approccio pacato e riflessivo. Osserva tutto ciò che la circonda con calma, quasi come una diplomata del branco, capace di mantenere l’equilibrio tra le sue compagne.
