Reason for surrender – Trixie was found as a stray and left to the sanctuary, we did make numerous attempts to contract the owner but we have had no luck. Dogs wardens have been made aware. At 14 years Trixie has some ailments, her sight and hearing isn’t what it would have been but the little lady still gets around just fine. Trixie did arrive quite thin but has quickly gained some weight. Full bloods were done which showed nothing abnormal, Trixie does still seem to be drinking and urinating more than we would expect so investigations are continuing. Trixie is a quiet little woman that is adored here, despite that we know that this little lady should not be in kennels. Trixie could live with another calm dog pending successful meet and greets. Trixie likes a slow approach, probably due to not seeing people coming towards her.
