Den mjuka killen Tusse kom till oss under väldigt tragiska omständigheter. Hans husse gick oväntat bort, och då matte inte kunde bo kvar själv på grund av sviktande hälsa fanns det ingen som kunde ta hand om honom. De anhöriga hamnade i en förtvivlad situation där de inte såg någon annan utväg än avlivning. Men när veterinärkliniken hörde av sig till oss tvekade vi inte en sekund – en frisk och fin katt ska självklart få en ny chans och inte behöva somna in bara för att livet förändras. Det vi kan gissa oss till är att Tusse har levt ett väldigt lugnt och förutsägbart liv som ensam- och innekatt. Hans chip visar att han ursprungligen kommer hela vägen från Danmark, men eftersom vi inte kunnat få så mycket information från hans tidigare hem vet vi inte mycket om hans dagliga liv. Tusse är en lite känslig kille som lätt blir osäker vid miljöombyten, och det har tagit lite extra tid för honom att landa här på katthemmet. Men så fort han får packa upp i sin egen takt, känna efter och bli trygg visar han vilken otroligt snäll och trevlig kille han är. Tusse har patellaluxation (lösa knäskålar). I dagsläget besväras han inte alls av detta, men hans framtida familj behöver vara beredd på att han kan utveckla artros på sikt och kan behöva extra omsorg eller kosttillskott för sina leder. Tusse drömmer nu efter ett lugnt, moget och harmoniskt föralltid-hem där han får bli någons trogna livskamrat igen.
