Tuzik — a small pup with a very big heart that once simply broke. His story is mundane and even more painful for it. After the death of his summer caretaker, Tuzik became nobody’s responsibility. That’s how he ended up on the streets, and then in the communal animal shelter in Kamyanets. For many, he was “difficult.” Tuzik lived in a kennel run for a long time and barely made contact with anyone. People were afraid of him, even approaching him was a daunting task. He ran, growled in fear, and protected himself. When Tuzik was transferred to our home animal shelter, the staff at the communal animal shelter had to put a trap collar on him because simply approaching him was impossible. But that very evening, we managed to establish a connection. In fact, Tuzik is not aggressive. He’s just very fearful by nature. He’s a dog who incredibly bonds with his “own” person. If he trusts, he will give his whole heart. He’s a very “mommy” dog, gentle, devoted, and jealous in a good sense, loving to be the only little favorite in the home. He may be jealous of people and other animals too. Tuzik is a small bell, about the size of a kitten. He weighs just 4 kg. So, he can show his character when he doesn’t like something, like grooming. He may growl, but there’s no malice or true aggression behind it. He simply honestly shows his emotions. We’ve had his teeth fixed, neutered, and treated — Tuzik is fully ready for a home. He needs a person who can see in him not a “scary dog from the animal shelter,” but a little living soul that has never had a normal life and desperately wants to be someone’s favorite.

Тузік — маленький песик із дуже великим серцем, яке колись просто розбили. Його історія банальна й від того ще болючіша. Після смерті літньої господарки Тузік став нікому не потрібен. Так він опинився на вулиці, а потім у комунальному притулку Кам’янського. Для багатьох він був “складним”. Тузик жив у вольєрі довгий час і майже не йшов на контакт. Його боялися, навіть прибирати у вольєрі було надважкою задачею. Він тікав, скалився від страху, захищався. Коли Тузіка передавали до нашого домашнього притулку, працівники комунального притулку змушені були вдягати на нього ловчу петлю, бо просто підійти до нього було неможливо. Але вже того ж вечора ми змогли знайти контакт. Насправді Тузік не агресивний. Він просто дуже наляканий по характеру. Це собака, який неймовірно прив’язується до “своєї” людини. Якщо довіриться — віддасть всю душу. Він дуже “мамин” песик, ніжний, відданий, ревнивий у хорошому сенсі, любить бути єдиним маленьким улюбленцем у домі. Може ревнувати і до людей, і до інших тварин. Тузік чудовий дзвіночок, розміром майже з котика. Важить усього 4 кг. Так, він може показати характер, коли йому щось не подобається, наприклад вичісування. Може скалитися, але за цим немає злості чи справжньої агресії. Він просто чесно показує свої емоції. Ми пролікували йому зубки, кастрували, обробили — Тузік повністю готовий до переїзду додому. Йому дуже потрібна людина, яка зможе побачити в ньому не “страшну собаку з притулку”, а маленьку живу душу, яка ніколи не мала нормального життя й дуже хоче нарешті стати чиїмось улюбленцем.
