Twist has been found and has never been claimed, despite extensive searches. He was undoubtedly abandoned, as he’s a cat who has been very close to humans: he’s highly sociable and affectionate. He’s a small, very energetic cat who needs plenty of opportunities to burn off his energy—playing, running, jumping, chasing flies... anything goes when it comes to having fun! During playtime or after a quiet day, his emotions can sometimes spill over because he struggles to channel them effectively. He’ll need a stimulating environment with lots of enrichment (fun food bowls, self-directed toys, cat trees, shelves, scratching posts, etc.) and patient humans who can help him better manage his emotions by providing him with appropriate activities. Twist will likely adapt to almost any situation—as long as we offer him a stable pace of life (sudden changes are hard for him to handle) and an environment that’s rich enough and provides sufficient outlets for his energy. Given his current behavior, we’d prefer a family living in a house with outdoor access and no other cats.

Twist a été trouvé et n'a jamais été réclamé, malgré des recherches extensives. Il a sûrement été abandonné, car c'est un chat qui a connu les humain·es de près : il est très sociable et câlin. C'est un petit chat très énergique qui a besoin de beaucoup se dépenser : jouer, courir, sauter, chasser les mouches… tout est bon pour s'amuser ! Pendant le jeu ou après une journée peu animée, les émotions peuvent parfois déborder car il a du mal à les canaliser. Il lui faudra un environnement riche et beaucoup d'occupation (gamelle ludique, jeux en autonomie, arbres à chats, étagères, griffoir, etc.) et des humain·es patient·es qui l'aideront à mieux gérer ses émotions en lui apportant des activités adaptées. Twist pourra sûrement s'adapter à tout contexte tant qu'on lui offre un rythme de vie stable (les changements brutaux sont difficiles à gérer) et un environnement suffisamment riche et des activités pour se dépenser. Au vu de son comportement actuel, nous privilégierons une famille en maison avec un extérieur et sans autres chats.
