Tyler

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 3 months

Tyler had no easy start in life. Together with his siblings, he was found on the roadside. It is likely that the puppies were simply abandoned there and left to their fate. Fortunately, our animal rights activist Diana discovered the little ones in time and took them with her. Since they were still very young, they were lovingly raised by bottle and could thus safely start into life. Today Tyler lives together with many other dogs, puppies and cats at Diana's and shows himself there as an absolutely social and friendly puppy. He gets along well with his fellow dogs, knows cats and has already had contact with children. People-oriented, he is open to attention. Typical for a puppy, Tyler is playful, curious and always ready for the next little adventure. Since Tyler will probably become a rather large dog one day, his future people should be aware that from the cute puppy soon a stately young dog grows up. Optically and by its origin, it could have herding dog genes in him. Such dogs are often considered intelligent, eager to learn and closely tied to their humans. At the same time, they often bring a certain independence with them and want to be physically as well as mentally exhausted. Like every puppy, Tyler is still at the beginning of his life. Housebreaking, leash training, staying alone and the many rules of living together must still be learned. Of course, small mishaps, nibbled objects and chaotic puppy moments will also belong to it. His future family should accompany him through this learning phase with patience, understanding and a good portion of humor. The puberty will not be absent either. Then the rules may be questioned again and the hearing sometimes only works very selectively. That is why it is important to lovingly and consistently accompany Tyler through life. A visit to a positively working dog school can be a helpful support and help build a stable basis for further life together. For Tyler, we wish people who enjoy accompanying a young dog as he grows up and showing him the world. People who not only see the sweet puppy, but also the wonderful companion that can become from him one day. Tyler travels with his EU pet passport, chipped, vaccinated, dewormed and flea-free to his new home. After a positive pre-control he can be placed for a deposit fee. Who falls in love with this cheerful puppy boy and gives him a home full of love, adventure and security? Many thanks to the godmother Gritt, who gave Tyler his name and thus enabled him to have a chance at a new life. Status: 26.06.2026

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Tyler hatte keinen einfachen Start ins Leben. Stand: 26.06.2026

About Tyler

What life with Tyler looks like

Tyler is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Tyler, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Tyler?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Tyler on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Tyler if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Tyler already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Tyler isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Tyler and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
