Ο Τζούλιο βρέθηκε ολομόναχος σε μια απομακρυσμένη παραλία σε περιοχή του Λουτρακίου. Ένα ζευγάρι που έκανε κάμπινγκ εκεί, παρατήρησε το αδύνατο κορμάκι του και τη θλίψη στα κουρασμένα του μάτια. Ειδοποίησαν τις τοπικές αρχές και έτσι, ο Τζούλιο ήρθε κοντά μας. Η γλυκιά του ψυχή άρχισε να ξεδιπλώνεται από την πρώτη στιγμή που τον αγκαλιάσαμε. Έχει μια ήρεμη, γοητευτική παρουσία. Είναι τρυφερός, περίεργος και πάντα πρόθυμος να πλησιάσει για ένα χάδι ή για λίγη στοργή. Είναι από εκείνα τα πλάσματα που σε κάνουν να σταματάς για λίγο, να χάνεσαι στα μάτια του, να χαμογελάς… και απλά να νιώθεις. Το μόνο που θέλει είναι να αγαπήσει και να αγαπηθεί. Δυστυχώς η ζωή στο καταφύγιο είναι για εκείνον δύσκολη. Στην αρχή ήταν γεμάτος ζωντάνια, με παιχνιδιάρικη διάθεση, πρόθυμος να εξερευνήσει και να κάνει νέους φίλους. Όμως ο χρόνος και η συμβίωση με τόσα άλλα σκυλιά (ιδιαίτερα μερικά πιο κυριαρχικά αρσενικά) τον έκαναν να αποτραβηχτεί. Ο αρχικός ενθουσιασμός του, έχει σβήσει λιγάκι. Και αυτό μας ραγίζει την καρδιά. Ο Τζούλιο δεν ανήκει πίσω από τα κάγκελα ενός καταφυγίου. Ανήκει στην αγκαλιά κάποιου. Σε ένα ήσυχο, γεμάτο αγάπη σπίτι, όπου θα μπορέσει επιτέλους να νιώσει ασφάλεια, φροντίδα και τη θαλπωρή που τόσο του λείπει. Είναι στειρωμένος, υγιέστατος και ζυγίζει περίπου 16 κιλά. Το μόνο που του λείπει είναι μια οικογένεια που θα τον κάνει να νιώσει μοναδικός. Κάποιος που θα κοιτάξει μέσα στα ζεστά, εκφραστικά του μάτια και θα δει την υπέροχη ψυχή που κρύβεται πίσω τους… Ανοίξτε την καρδιά σας στον Τζούλιο.
