Ularco

Male Β· Senior Β· 21 years

Meet Ularco, a 21-year-old gelding of about 1.50 meters tall. A horse with a gentle nature and a big heart. Ularco is an extremely sweet gelding, but he needs time to learn to trust you. He is sensitive by nature and picks up well on the energy of the people around him. Once you have won his trust, he shows what a special horse he is: a loyal and loving gelding with a heart of gold. Ularco is still at the beginning of his training. He walks nicely alongside on a halter and lets himself be groomed calmly and carefully in the stable. He still has a lot to learn. That is why we are looking for a calm, patient and experienced person for him, who will give him the time to develop further and wants to guide him step by step. For Ularco we are seeking a loving home where he feels safe and where he may grow at his own pace. A place with understanding, calm, and someone willing to take the time to build a real bond with him.

About Ularco

What life with Ularco looks like

Ularco is a large senior horse waiting at Paard zoekt baas in Ambt Delden.

Adopting a horse is a long-term commitment that almost always requires either land or a boarding stable. The shelter will discuss the horse's training level, vet history, and what kind of work or companionship they're suited for. Expect ongoing costs: feed, farrier, vet, and stabling.

Frequently asked

Adopting Ularco, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Ularco?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Paard zoekt baas handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Ularco on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Ularco if I live in another country?
Sometimes. Whether a horse can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Paard zoekt baas what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Ularco already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
What a horse comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask Paard zoekt baas directly what is included and what Ularco still needs.
What happens if Ularco isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Paard zoekt baas early rather than rehoming privately; they know Ularco and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (NL). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
