Ultia (FA en vue d’adoption)

Maine Coon · Female · Kitten · 5 months

Ultia is a tiny, delicate, and affectionate little cat. She loves being close to her human and is a purring machine. However, beware of your feet - Ultia likes to stay close to you and can easily end up in your legs! Due to her heart condition, Ultia must live in a calm environment and receive regular veterinary care. Her activity level must also be adapted to her health condition: she doesn't play much and playtime should always be gentle, without intense effort or fatigue. She enjoys fishing rods and small plush toys, especially those with bells or feathers. But the goal is to have fun without tiring her out. Her favorite activity is relaxation! Ultia loves to settle down on a mat, especially when a nice sunbeam comes to keep her company. She also likes to sleep hidden, comfortably on a small woolen blanket with a few plush toys around her. Despite her small size, Ultia is an extremely curious cat. She likes to explore every nook and cranny and discover everything around her. She is clean and currently uses a litter box with a very low tray, suitable for her small size. It will be necessary to ensure that she has an easily accessible installation in her future home. Ultia has a nice medium-long coat that requires regular brushing. This maintenance will help keep her coat in good condition and prevent knots from forming. She can also enjoy these sessions as little moments of pampering, always with gentleness. Regarding her food, Ultia eats croquettes at will and drinks from a bowl. I like / I don't like: Ultia has not yet been tested with other animals, so gradual and adapted introductions will be necessary if she joins a home with other companions. A calm adult cat will be mandatory in her future home.

About Ultia (FA en vue d’adoption)

What life with Ultia (FA en vue d’adoption) looks like

Ultia (FA en vue d’adoption) is a small kitten maine coon cat waiting at APAA Trégrom in France.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Ultia (FA en vue d’adoption), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Ultia (FA en vue d’adoption)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. APAA Trégrom handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Ultia (FA en vue d’adoption) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Ultia (FA en vue d’adoption) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — APAA Trégrom will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Ultia (FA en vue d’adoption) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Ultia (FA en vue d’adoption) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with APAA Trégrom early rather than rehoming privately; they know Ultia (FA en vue d’adoption) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
