Upsi is a curious Nymphicus Hollandicus cock who came to us as a found bird. He maintains a distance from humans but is interested in them and observes what the featherless ones do. We wish this open-minded, loving cock a suitable home that offers a partner, unrestricted daily flight in a large aviary or a large outdoor aviary with a heated, frost-proof shelter. To meet the needs of these intelligent birds, sufficient enrichment and chewing material should be provided, as well as varied perching and landing options. As with any other animal, you should inform yourself about their needs before adopting. Upsi has been tested negative for Circo/Polyoma viruses, Chlamydia, Mycoplasma and Macrorhabdiosis.

Upsi ist als Fundvogel zu uns gekommen und ist ein neugieriger Nymphensittich-Hahn, der dem Menschen gegenüber zwar noch Distanz wahrt, ihm aber durchaus interessiert begegnet und genau beobachtet, was die Federlosen so machen. Wir wünschen dem aufgeschlossen, lieben Hahn ein artgerechtes Zuhause, welches neben einer Partnerin auch uneingeschränkten, täglichen Freiflug in einem großen Vogelzimmer bietet oder auch eine große Außenvoliere mit geheiztem, frostsicherem Schutzraum. Um den intelligenten Vögeln gerecht zu werden, sollte neben ausreichendem Beschäftigungs- und Knabbermaterial, auch abwechslungsreiche Anflugs- und Sitzmöglichkeiten angeboten werden. Wie bei jeder anderen Tierart auch, sollte man sich vor der Adoption ausführlich über ihre Bedürfnisse informieren. Upsi wurde negativ auf Circo-/Polyomaviren, Chlamydien, Mykoplasmen und Macrorhabdiose getestet.
