Vadim

Male · Kitten · 3 months

Vadim is the brother of Walker and Yoko. Three very fearful kittens. Upon arrival, he was a kitten who played with the other cats in the house, not afraid of the dog, but still remained fearful of humans. After several months of building trust, Vadim gradually gained confidence in humans. He loves being petted and quickly becomes a purring box. Vadim is a gentle cat, not aggressive but still has trouble with humans. He remains fearful and the size of humans scares him. However, when at their height, he is less afraid. Thus, he comes to sleep with his family, and this is the special moment when he comes to be petted. He adores being petted, wants more, and becomes a purring box. It will take time and patience, but he deserves it. He is very close to Verdi, and a joint adoption would be ideal. VADIM is identified by an electronic chip, vaccinated against typhus and cat flu, and treated for fleas and worms. He is neutered. He is adoptable in Ile-de-France under an associative contract with the this breed Shelter. A financial contribution corresponding to the veterinary expenses incurred will be requested. For more information, contact the address or call .

About Vadim

What life with Vadim looks like

Vadim is a large puppy/kitten cat waiting at 30 Millions d'Amis in Paris.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Vadim, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Vadim?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. 30 Millions d'Amis handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Vadim on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Vadim if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — 30 Millions d'Amis will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Vadim already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Vadim isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with 30 Millions d'Amis early rather than rehoming privately; they know Vadim and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
